Why we are building it

Enough is enough.

Nova Scotia and the Atlantic provinces have been paying more for internet connectivity than any other area in all of North America, and the CRTC said that it’s due to a lack of competition.

Purple Cow is building out Purple Fibre, a next-generation fibre-optic network, to finally put an end to this lopsided oligopoly we have here, so that we can stop the big guys from taking advantage of us and finally create real change and drive down the cost of internet.

The more people that join Purple Fibre, the more Purple Cow sends a message to the big guys that enough is enough, and it’s time for change.

The reason we pay the most is a lack of competition.

We value your time just like we value our own, so all Purple Fibre appointments are scheduled for an exact time. You’ll never have to wait around for hours wondering when our team will arrive.
How long does it take to get set up with Purple Fibre?
Our goal is to have you online the same day you order. While this isn’t always possible, when you order Purple Fibre online, you can select the exact date and time for your installation.
Will I have internet when my power goes out?
We built our network so that if you lose power—but have a home generator running—your internet will continue to work
Whose network do you use?
We built our own network from the ground up. The entire infrastructure is owned and operated by Purple Cow, which is why we can offer speeds 10x faster than the big guys—all while delivering the best customer service.
Do you have your own technicians, or do you subcontract?

Do I have to install the internet myself?

What happens if Purple Fibre is not available in my area?
